Wind is starting to drift a bit sw'rly but Anglesey seems to look like it will hold on to a bit still by the weekend.
Anyone any plans for a trip ?
Friday looking well good - 20 knots and some sunshine! So I'm having a well-earned day on the beach
Jon d Hat is up for it too so Al won't have the beach to himself
Sat looking pretty good too, and sunday, well looks like a mt biking opportunity to me
Roll on the weekend
Have spoke to Tony and he is going to try to get over friday afternoon.
I cant get away from work before end of day, so will get to Borth about 10.30ish.
I presume someone has the new gate key ?
Is anyone offering a bed to kitefish or will he be making a day trip only ?
See you all on friday - the bus is charged up and ready to roll
Hey Mark,
I'm spoken for, but I hear Tony's available at the moment - I'm sure he'll extend Kitefish a WARM welcome
Now now boys no fighting over me Never felt so popular
I have a key to the gate but no van, bit of a waste of £50
Hopefully if the wind stays in for Saturday I will see you then.
Have to try Rhossi one day. Borth too but it's a little far when I've already come past it on a Friday evening traveling from way too
far south for my own good.
BRS for me I think. Big tides are due so lagoon fun fun fun
Hey Col,
You will have to make the trip down to Borth some time soon.
It cant be more than an hour from your Dads place and worth the drive I am sure.
Mark
Chris,
You are welcome to take one of our spare beds if you want.
Text me and let me know.
we will be over late friday evening.
Mark
i'll be up this friday eveningsometime after having a cuppa with Dunk first if he is at the cottage.

Don't stress about it Col - just bring them all - thats what a van is for after all! I'm sure there'll be plenty of hands about to help you unwrap em
i'll bring that winnie the poo kite for you spooks.....oh no hang on it doesn't float..
glad you'll be there i could do with a few kites washing!!!!
and you seem to be taking over graham's mantle for kite washer of the year
don't know how you can comment on my kites big boy - last time you were out several people commented that you must have gills - the length of time you spent under water
Anyone over the dovey side Saturday??, will be my first time out for a while.
What are the waves like at Borth in a SW ??. Do you still get the lagoon bit ??.
Cheers,
Simon

yes you get the lagoon, but learn to surf the waves then when you go back to flat boring dovey side you'll rip
Shady, Deathbag, Crezzie & Fatbob are going to Blackrock on Saturday if any one wants to join us.
Well, think i'll head to Borth first next time. No one at Dovey first thing so after waiting around a bit, headed up to BRS, shit
journey which took nearly an hour. No bugger there either, so cut my losses and headed back to Brum.
Got caught in loads of traffic, took me nearly 4 hours to get home......what an absolute waste of a day !!!. Was so looking forward to
it as well.
Hope people had a better day out than me.....the conditions looked great, but I don't kite on my own.
Still, i guess there will be another good day soon.
Cheers,
Si.
12 or 15 out at Borth - what a fantastic day! Lighter winds than Friday which was epic too, mild weather for January, 15-18 knots, and the sun shone all day
Sorry to hear of your bad day Sib, can't understand why you did'nt hook up with us though.
Where abouts did you look at Blackrock. We were out in the lagoons, on the water from about 10.30 untill about 4.00
I must have been at the wrong place ??, I couldn't see any kites from the beach. I just drove along the road until it came to the beach
??, do you go somewhere else ??. I came up to BRS because I'd seen the note on the forum.
Made up for it today as i had my other light wind toys out (RC model helicopters), and had a fab day.
Still a bit gutted I missed such a session. Seems Borth is more popular during the winter months, or maybe the crowd there is a bit
more hard core ??.
Catch up soon (this bl**dy weekend hopefully)
Simon.
Light winds as forecast by windguru. Only Neil was out after lunch with his 20M yarga. I had to make do landboarding with my Rage. More wind next time, maybe.
Well for hard core enthusiasm the award this weekend needs to go to Andy and Tony who were launched from the top of sea wall !
Col and Chris did at least walk down past the end of the sea wall before launching.
Otherwise a lovely day saturday although only Neil out sunday. Oh to be light and limber !
Now wheres the slimfast ?
