Check these out!
http://www.royalkiteboarding.net/
They look sweet, do a full range of equipment, and the reviews they are getting is sick. havnt tried one my self, but have spoken to
some very excited kiters from uk and USA about them. Theyve got a very C kite feel, with huge wind ranges and loads a grunt. The
designer has a massive pedigree,( Shant drop any names, but he was designing for a company that started with a R, had another letter in
the middle and finished with a D)!! For people that still insist on not getting a Bow or Hybrid, this will probably be the kite. Hope
to have one here to try out in a couple of
weeks.
Al, can you help with the link??

The royal kite does look interestingly different.

40 + knots at the moment. If it stays like this I may be testing out my ozone 5 meter instinct light in the morning
i'll be there sat so save some wind
trying to get up for 6ish, looks v v windy out there from mi office window though
Wind has been dropping off gradually all day long, but is still a respectable 20 knots or so.
Al.
Just taken delivery of a 10 meter demo if any one wants to play!
So Shem,
3 days and no report on the Royal yet - are you gonna stay locked in a dark room with it and the KY and rubber gloves - or are going to
pump it up and get it wet?
If it ever gets windy on a weekend I'm free, it would be good to have a go Shem. Not really interested in changing my high wind kites
from my sonics, but always good to try something new.
Just part ex'd the 16m TD for a 2007 17m Fuel......really good looking kite in Red and Black. Hoping it will have a bit more top end
than the TD.
Cheers,
Simon
spooks they obviously don't know the secret new weapon youv'e chosen...whats with this 16 and 17m kites..they just don't get it
Sorry spooks havnt had a chance to get in yet. Planing on getting the 10m bundle of joy in tommorow. Apparently itll be well powered in
10 knots so xing fingers! Any fancy Barmouth on the weekend?
Just had out the Royal. Not the best of conditions, but hey. 10 knots wnw, small surf and crazy fly skim board.
Even in light wind its the most stable kite Ive flown, it just sits there. Theres also a little fixed harness line which is handy, it
hooks into the top of the chicken loop, makes light wind less hassle. The bar is similar to the North one,(as expected being made by
the same people). Its a tiny bar for a 10 meter kite and it turns on a dime. The one pump system is sweet, very solid, defo the best
one Ive seen so far. Can't comment much more due to the conditions I had it out in, but certanly a very solid, smooth kite. More to
come!
