Dear Friends, I am coming from Russia to London for the next half a year starting from September. I am planning to bring my equipment with me to UK and to do some kitesurfing if possible at this period of the year. Therefore I have several questions: what are the nice places to kiteserf reachable from London? When is the kitesufing season ending in autumn/winter? On general, how cold is the water, will 5/3 mm suit be enough for me or I need a dry suit? Thanks in advance.

you can kite here all year round, and yes a 5,3 will be fine for you all year. You may need boots and gloves around December, January
and Febuary, but usually only women or soft men take this drastic action.
Hope you enjoy yourself!

There are plenty of kitebeaches...depends how far you are willing to travel. Will you have access to a car when your here? Check out
the Beach Guide.. If you don't mind travelling, West
coast is more beautifull and the waves are more consistant.
Most people that I know use a 5mm wetsuit or a drysuit through January and february, sure you'll be fine with either.
hi i am from london and drive if u wanna go down to the beach at some point got southend brighton and a few others all about 1 - 2 hours and isle of thanet 3 hours i am a beginner though
You might say something funny if you ever engage your brain
please children temper temper......
being a softy i tend to use my drysuit, more for the convenience of being able to take it off at any time and have a snack, also its
better than having a wet dripping wet suit in the van smelling the place out.
oh there are a couple of guys that do travel up from london to kitesurf with us lotl; i used to think it was because we are such a
friendly bunch,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but maybe not that sure now...................
