Hi everybody, Im ready and waiting for to get out there to start practising my kitesurfing. I live in Bristol and will be up for travelling anywhere in south and southwest of England and south and west wales. Can anybody give me a short list of places ideal for beginners with large area's of shallow water. Much appreciated too.

Take a look through the beachguide, but the best place locally for you will be Weston Super Mare.

Further afield you may want to head to Portland Harbour I guess as there is plenty of shallow flat water there, although the winds are oten offshore which isn't so good! Plenty of shallow flat water in Poole harbour too, but I'm not sure what the kitesurfing restrictions etc are there?
