Hi, I am about to buy my first water kite. I have had 5 lessons now with professional instructors. I know of someone who has a slingshot fuel 06 13metre kite. Is this any good for me as a beginner ? posts greatly appreciated.

Its a o.k. kite but a full or nearly full de powerable, would ber loads safer, have a bigger wind range and help you progress quicker.

Most Bows/SLE's would be fine and Ozone have a good pedigree... not sure about the 'light' Is that the one with 3 struts? Colins probably got a demo if not he's probably flown one..anyone??

The lights a really good kite, I gave my 12meter Demo to a few guys to try,( guys that ride well), and they where amazed at its wave riding and freestyle ability, easy to use and 20 foot jumps no problem. The sport is certanly a step up, but if your on a budget, and want a kite thats gonna stick with ya for a while the light is great. Ive got a 5 meter light Im gagin to try out in freaking conditions.

Love Cabs..learned on a Co2, Put it through hell for 2 years without any problems. Sure the Omega will be a good choice. Let us know what you think of it when youve had a good play
