Where is everyone heading this weekend ??. Is Borth the best place for North Easterly winds ???.

Temperatures look good as well. Going to be crashing in the back of the truck Saturday night, so don't want any morning frosts

Got some new toys to play with if Shem get's them !!.

Fingers crossed.

Simon

Neil,

I'm not sure where you are going (teign - a village in Devon?), but I'm going to Tignes, where (according to the snow reports) there was 1 foot of new powder snow yesterday and on Sunday it if forecast 15 mph winds and sun !!!!

Lets hope it stays like that for the rest of the week.

Mike

Borth, or Ynyslas to be precise is indeed the best place in NE's... On fact it is probably the windiest place int he Uk in a NE, especially at this time of year and even more so of the sun comes out and Ivor (the katabatic wind) comes out to play.

Tides are high around 8am at the weekend though so I'd recommend an early start... preferably at first light!

I shall be up sat night for a change, been super busy recently - bummer.

Have fun in Tignes Neil, I shall be in France the same week though on the other side - then off to Malta for a spot of fun in the water - also have a 9m waroo on the way - tremendous.

Well presently the estuary is looking VERY promising this weekend. Tides aren't brill, but I'm hoping to get down mid afternoon sat for an evening sail, then stay over for an early sunday blast.

So who else is about??

Lets hope ivor makes an appearance.... Windguru is only showing around 14 knots for tomorrow morning and xcweather is only forecasting 11 knots...

I reckon it'll be more though, and Sunday still looks good.

Monday morning looks as though it could be a good one too.
