If the old katabatic kicks in the estuary should be the go for Saturday. Whos around for a play??
Might make the trip over shem and take the gamble, havent seen you for a while.
Shem - I might be over Sun or Mon depending on what the wind does.
Sunday looks Easterly and not very strong, so would need Ivor to kick in. Sunday - HW at 08:36 5.2m, LW at 15:45 0.2m
Monday looks South Easterly and Force 4. Monday - HW at 09:16 5.4m, LW at 16:24 0.1m
I seem to remember that on Springs, the Estuary works approx 2.5 hours either side of HW. Is that correct? is there any beach left at
a tide of 5.2m?
Out of interest, does the estuary work in SE, or is Dyfi better?
jon
can you tell me if the estary is ok with a northerly wind?
One of the locals can answer better than me but Im pretty sure the estuary isn't anygood in a northery due to the hills on the dyfi side
Yeah, BEFS is right, N isn't great in the estuary, especially on the Dyfi side, and not a lot better on the Ynysals side either.
Forecast is for NNE though, so if there is enough E in the wind it could be honking in there!
Al.
thanks for the info
i am going to chance it i think.
and hope that it is more from the east
Good idea.... If not, then spending a day in Borth waiting for wind isn't the end of the world!
Al.
If it is straight easterly the grave yard beach is good, but as Al said it should defo be NE. X fingers.
I'm hoping for a nice early session... On the water for about 7am to catch the tide.... If there's enough wind that is.
Then I'm heading south for some geocaching around Aberaeron.

Sunday and Monday not looking as good now, so I recon its worth making the most of tommorow. If I can get my drunk ass out of bed Ill be there for the early one.
