That must be the guy Jonny mentioned in his
diary
entry a few days ago.
Al.
Al. what am I doin wrong, the link wont work. Can you sort it?
Yeh...thats the one.
I was wondering when I'd hear the outcome of the accident. I was on the water when it happened. Had no idea anything was wrong until I
saw all the flashing lights at the Beach entrance. I asked someone what was going on as there was a bit of comotion and then I saw the
guy face down on the ground 100 yards away with a few people looking after him. Then the helicopter emerged so we all had to land our
kites immediately.
I didn't think conditions were too be bad to be honest on Sunday. I had much worse in Cape town last week when it was gusting from 25 -
35 knots.
There were a few gusts coming through but nothing major. I wouldn't of gone out in conditions like this a year ago, not for beginners
anything above 25mph.
Oh yeah, im in the above photos as well, the one packing up his kite a 100 metres or so in front of the helicopter.
Well, Hope the guy has a speedy recovery.
