mNeil - 17-1-2007 at 11:08

you've not broken all your toys again Al?

justal - 17-1-2007 at 13:00

Yep.... mast last week, which has since been replaced, mast extension this week which resulted in another big swim (and Shem calling the lifeboat for me)... I do have a spare, but the broken extension put a nice big hole in my board too.... I can probably find a suitable, sea-worthy board somewhere though.

Forcast looking good!! X fingers

Si_B - 18-1-2007 at 11:17

Looking good for Saturday (before it turns really cold !!). Hopefully I will finally be able to get the 8m out of the bag. Be good to get it trimmed out before my holiday.

Still feeling sore from Sunday. Been a while since I've had to keep walking up the beach.

Will be on the Dovey side.

Saturday is looking good at the mo... I think it will feel quite cold though after what we have been used to lately... Not as cold as next week though.

I see the Dovey bridge is flooded and loads of trees down.

justal - 19-1-2007 at 22:22

The wind has arrived already.... gusting to 35 knots at the moment, so we should be OK tomorrow.

Al.

shem - 20-1-2007 at 08:13

Pushing on 50 knot gusts again, I gotta get a 6m.

justal - 20-1-2007 at 08:19

Do you want to borrow a sail Shem??? !

Al.

leonardo - 20-1-2007 at 12:05

looks frigging windy dudes!! windsurfin weather DUDE

justal - 20-1-2007 at 12:39

Just been out here.... Not windy enough for my 3.4m or 4m sail so went with the 4.5m which was just about right.

Nice and sunny too which makes a change and I didn't break anything.

Al.

shem - 20-1-2007 at 14:24

Checked out a few spots, but every where had variants of 20 knots, so thought Id have a day off.

Jonny - 20-1-2007 at 21:28

Same here in the North West Shem. Was gonna go out at starr gate at Blackpool this afternoon but it was 6m kite weather and gusting 30 - 45mph. Temp dropped as well so I lost enthusiasm as did pretty much everyone else.

justal - 21-1-2007 at 08:14

Wind was OK here in the morning... 30-40 knots, but mostly around 30... Did get riduculously gusty in the evening though.

Glad I went back to bed on Saturday morning then. The wind was really gusty in Brum, and the weather looked crap.

Was regretting my decision during the day as the clouds cleared, but sound like the wind would have been a bit too much for me.
