Hi there. I´m visiting family over xmas in St. Annes and wondered if you could provide me with some info re kiting there. Which
winds are navegable, what suits are you wearing. We have 5-3 wet suits. Will we freeze?! If you could think of anything else that would
be useful to us, I would be really grateful if you would take the time to reply. You could also check out our website. It´s early
days so nothing spectacular - ibizakite.com. Tried to look at the photos on zenna website but you must have erased them. Can I view
them anywhere else?
Hope you have wind in aberdovey! Bye. Sara
Hi Sara.
Hope you well.
We all wear winter suite's here as the water is getting cold now also boots and gloves and hoods.
If you kite at St Annes when the tide is in its shallow water good for learning in nice and flat.
But when the tide is out its quite a walk.
Just down the road is Star Gate or (locals call it SS south shore).
You can kite there with ease as the tide i close.
Both beaches kite well on south, SW, West, North and NW.
There is a 50meter no kite fly from the dunes.
If you have any questions the lads round there are a good set of lads.
Theres usualy someone there kiteing everyday if theres wind.
Your nearest kite shop is Hangtime in fleetwood not far about 25mins down the coast.
Give me a shout when you get here if you want and i will meet up show you the spots.
ERRM the website evrything is working here.!!
we have two pages now to get to the second page there is a link at the bottom of the first page.

Hi Carl.
Thanku for your speedy reply. Checked out St Annes photos finally. Oops! My mistake! Don´t want to be a pain but..... re the suits,
are they wet or dry and more than 5mm?
I´m actually from the area but haven´t kited there ever. I´m the beginner but my boyfriend is well versed. Also, which kites
should we bring - 9m and 12m? Or 15m?
Thankyou for being such a very nice chap.
Sara
Hi Sara
ooo Nice chap never been called that before LOL
sorry i forgot to say most are using 5/3mm wetsuits.
At the moment but when the water gets even more colder prob 5m.
Oneil and Mystic with a rashvest and shorts.
At the moment the wind has been top so they been using 7m to 12m.
With winds from 18 to 45mph.
But as you know what the weather is like.
As for a beginner St Annes is good with flat water at high tide.
Dont hesitat if you need more info.

Hi there.
Just to say thankyou for all your info and help.
Hope our 5-3 suits will still serve us by the time we get there.
My boyfriend is envious of windguru´s guide to blackpool. Only the wind, not the temperature! So hope you guys all have some fine
surfing ahead of you.
We are going to Tarifa next week, so hopefully I shan´t look like such a beginner on the fylde coast!
Maybe see you in a few weeks. Byebye Sara
