i'm selling all my old kites ; no reasonable offer refused
mNeil - 6-11-2006 at 12:46

like Shem i have theses advertised in the forsale section; my old 6.3 mtre and 10 mtre Wipika airblasts ( 8.4 and 13.4 mtre flat).the 6.3 is in really good condition and the 10 has had some small repairs but generally good.both kites fly well.
11.5 and 16 Wipika free airs...really good stable kites again with repairs but fly well.
all these kites would be worth buying if on a tight budget, i'm talking £50 each here to get them out of my loft! send me a u2u and i will bring them up to borth.

hi neil, would the small wipika be any good for Deb's to learn with ?

she is keen to get in the water but as my smallest kite is 10m i am wondering if your 8.3 may be more suitable to learn body dragging etc with ?

Thanks
Mark

mNeil - 7-11-2006 at 08:44

the little one obviously is a lot smaller than your 10 mtre Mark so less power.
none of the kites come with bar and lines but i do have an older 4 line bar with 24mtrs lines on it

Loxley - 8-11-2006 at 12:01

could i utilise my naish 4 line bar setup on it ?

hi guys,

well Debbie is keen to get in the water again and learn !

i am sure she is telling the truth and not just saying that to please me ! LOL

so its a case of finding her a suitable trainer that i can also make use of in the high wind season.

may get out this weekend on sunday, not sure yet. we have just bought a nice new camper; well a '52' plate anyway and pick it up from the dealers on saturday.

see you guys soon.

Mark

Hi mark,

My advice for you would be to go down the bow kite road.

It will give debs the confidence like it has given me and the feeling that all you have to do is "let go" of the bar is great!!!!

If you went for a 7m or 9m bow it would give debs a massive range and also give you a high wind kite.

i would consider the following kites

7m or 9m waroo - could pick one up for £350 complete

7m or 9m flexi atom

8m sonic

all are great kites and would give debs a good wind range and would also offer you a kite that will get you out when its 23-35mph.

see you sat afternoon if you need a hand with the drive or sunday for a sesh.
