But he never got chance to do it due to fog.
Speed record has just been broken by girl called Sjoukje Bredenkamp in Nambia, 37.27Kts using a Naish Raven 8m.

I'm sure the speed record has to be faster than that??? Although maybe not the womens record?

I thought the kitesurf record was now pretty close to the overall speed record of 48.7 knots.

No i thought the same 37knts does seem bit slow. thought it was faster then that but im only going of what naish news letter said.

I think the Mens record is 41.79 knots set by Olaf MARTING on Oct 2005 (so that may be out of date now??)..
That above does indeed look like a new womens record.

Windsurf record is 48.7 knots set by Finian Maynard in Apr 2005

Fastest boat is Yellow pages at 46.52 set in Oct 1993

All pretty damn fast!!
