Ebay woes....
Loxley - 20-10-2006 at 13:31

Oh well, ebay mania has struck and lost !

Had been highest bidder on a 7m diesel all week, a 2005 model mint condition with bar and lines and it was holding at £170.

2 minutes to go and no one has bid so i am just getting my credit card out to pay the seller when a bid pops up with 30 seconds to go at £180.

by the time i had pressed "BID" and entered more money and pressed SEND then the auction had closed.

totally gutted as there was no reserve on the kite and it was going to be the last one size to give me a full range in the quiver.

oh well, try again next week.

Bad luck... You should have put in a maximum bid of the most you would have paid, that way when the other bidder put in the £180 bid you would have automatically outbid him with a bid of £190 (assuming your max bid was £190 or more) and the other bidder wouldn't have had time to put in another bid to beat you.

I might have a 9m Deisel for sale if you're interested?

will it be too close to my 10m Rhino tho ?

this weekend just gone i was really overpowered on the 10m by late afternoon and i would have thought a 7 or 8 would have been more easy to handle.

open to opinions though ?!??

thanks

Mark

I will show you the way and may the force be with you

SNIPE IT!

Take a look at this link, it has got me many a bargain

https://www.ezsniper.com/index.php3 />

You get your first 3 snipes free, decide your top price, copy and paste the ebay number into EZsnipe, place your top price and leave it. Your bid will be automatically entered in the last seconds of the auction and if your bid is above the highest you win, without showing your hand too early in the game. It's great, this way you don't get drawn in or cause a bidding war, thwarts the whole idea of auctions- I swear by it so try it and I don't have shares in EZ snipe.
