Following an absolutely crackin weekend in the estury at Ynyslas, I'm feeling full of enthusiasm for the coming weekend. Just checked
the forcast and Sat is looking good at the moment, Sun marginal. However, you all know how the borth effect can bung a few extra Knts
onto the predicted forcasts so who's out and where.
Anyone joining neil in Cornwall? Long drive but nice for a change.
Dudes

Earned my points last weekend so hop to be in Dovey Saturady morning.
Its been far to long since I sailed with the posse. If the forecast is ok I will try to make saturday.
What are the tides doing at the weekend, will the lagoons be useable ?
The lagoons look usable from arround noon Dyfi side. Big tide though with a low late afternoon.
Decission made, Dovey it is then. conflicting wind reports but it's looking good for Sat, Sun and Monday.
Yes, I have an extra day off.... Well deserved me thinks.
Looks like Encee Chris the fish and Woosh are gona be joinin the motley crew.
See you all down there. lookin forward to another spectacular weekend
black rock now showing the better of the places for the weekend and monday so going there instead of down south!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!low
tide at 1 so coming in all afternoon
see yuuuus there
I'm with Neil, Blackrock looking good possible 20knots Saturday and good tides too. Winds all over the place everywhere else, could be
very interesting cos there is going to be a low pressure sweeping across over the weekend, wouldn't mind betting on stronger winds that
what is being predicted. Looking at all the forecasts (MET, BBC & XC) none seem to entirely agree to wind strength or direction,
but South and SSW seem to be the most consistant
Who's coming
Mmmmm - might be up for it, but 20 knots sounds like it'll be a bit rough, so maybe I'll stay at home and iron my kites instead
Soooooooo..... in 20 knots+ the man with the Big Butch Buell (see FoN Hogs thread) irons his kites eh ?
By the way Spooks, for some reason your bike picky has disappeared.....

Mmmm...tempting....avn't been to Blackrock for ages, and such a beautiful backdrop, could be swayed.
Will give it due consideration, anyone else up for Blackrock?
Then again, if its gona rain I may stay home and knit myself a new drysuit an a couple ov bow kites
Buells are icons and VERY desirable, I'm not surprised some saddo has pinched the piccy, luckily I've got several copies for my own
gratification!
sigh... I guess I can just fold them neatly on Friday nite, then I can alus come out to play on sat - is it's windy enuf.
See you all at Black Rock then !
Where do you park up the campers ?
Do you go on the site at the slip at the far end of the beach or at the Porthmadoc slip way end ?
Should be arriving after 10.30pm tonight .
Here's looking forward to a great weekend
Mark
mark take the first left pass the spar shop to beach and park up on the beach .beware of soft sand and make sure you are above the tide mark, should no problem as it is a very low tide only 4mtrs. we will all be there so you will see the vans.
Have fun, think of poor old me having to work all weekend, its not fair!!
We were thinkin bout poor ol you all this week whilst we were at work in the sunny midlands reading your posts shem. Bloody typical...youve used up all the wind again an I'll have to do a 300 mile round trip to get one days sailin in. Lifes a bitch eh.
I'm with you Shem. Better keep your pager on you and warn your lifeboat friends!!
Thats true Paul - Jon hasn't got a very good record at Blackrock - got to know some of the local RNLI peeps rather well last summer.
I'd be down over the weekend to keep an eye on him
