Met a chap on Sunday (can't remember his name, but he was flying a bright yellow GK lift), who said I should put a post on here as I
kite at Aberdovey.
The winds are showing East on BBC for Sunday, so will everyone be over at Borth ??.
By the way, I was the big chubby bloke in the blue gath helmet flying Turbo Diesels (very rare in Wales), scraping his new board on the
bottom in the shallow lagoon.
Regards,
Simon
Hey simon, thought you used these forums any way. The weekends still looking a bit dodgy at the mo, well have to wait and see.
Simon, I was the not so chubby guy playing with that 17m strike and bottled to my sonic.
By the way chubby guy's are not rare in Wales!!!

Simon, that was me on the 12m GK Lift
it picked up on Sun afternoon - a few of us in the estuary having some flat water runs.

Yep it did kick in as pebble says which we needed as the rip was taking power out the kite. A shame I had to go not long after it did.
It was windy once we were back in Brum. Should have brought the 16m from the car, but could not face another walk over the dune.
It was good fun, but the water went so quick.
Yep those big spring tides sure do empty the place.
