MY BOARD WAS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT ON A RECENT TRIP,AIRLINE PAID PEANUTS,(FREIGHT VALUE ONLY)MY INSURANCE WANT A QUOTE TO REPAIR,OR A LETTER SAYING BOARD IS DEAD.LIVE ON EAST COAST,CAN ANYONE GIVE ANY SUGGESTIONS(HAVE NO RECEIPT EITHER!)SO NOT LOOKING GOOD. ANY HELP OR ADVICE WARMLY WELCOME

I'd say get a quote for repair as you insurance company has requested. I'm sure your local kitesurf shop will be able to help with such a quote, and if not they'll know someone who can.

I would of thought the insurance company would know of a repairer as Im sure they would want the work done by one of their approved repairers.

insurance left it to me to get quotes,they say its too specialised and dont have sufecient knowledge.(have no receipt of purchase)have rang several shops who say repairs are not cost effective(too labour intensive)but not prepared to put pen to paper,or finger to key board!need names and numbers for repairer or someone who is prepared to draft a letter,dont expect anything for free,will pay for service,any suggestions?someone must have had a simillar experience!
