Huge floods here in hereford. kitesurfable?

i'm just waiting for some wind and to be let off for an hour or 2 by the boss so i can get out and surf the flood plain wind 2moro and friday so it just might happen. went to walk the dog in the park but the park is gone!

my dear dear will, take it easy brother, respect da winds inland for they are truly treacherous & trees are excellent kite munchers not to mention human speed barriers...when u up for a sail again???

i'm going for it tommorrow morning. the park is full of glass flat one foot deep water. some trees and the odd goal post to grind. gale warnings as well so no excuses gonna do an al and be on the water nice and early!!!!

Well, you know what they say about the early bird!!

Not many floods around here at the mo, but the the rugby fields at Bodlondeb always look pretty inviting when they flood... I also remember Steve windsurfing across the Golf Course Car Park here in Ynyslas when that flooded one year.. I guess it would be rude not to give it go.

got one run in but not even the sonic could cope with wind from 0-25 mph coming from 8 different directions, good side though was got lofted at a goal post but just let go and stopped was nice not to be dragged through the slippery mud to my doom as my noggin deflects in off the near side post having been curled in from outside the box!!! need a valley to funnel the wind. the hunt continues!!!
