Sonic owners may know this allready, but I thought Id let you know any way.

Globe rider are sending out up grade kits to all people that have bought Sonics all ready. Its a couple of extras that people said they would like to see on the kites, so matt pendal has gone and done it! All within a week of being asked. New kites will come with the up grade as standard.

Also a new heavy duty chicken loop is being sent out, ( Will, Im sure you know this all ready)!

Good to see so many Sonics out this weekend, and so many smilling faces as well!!


Its a shame theres a bit of a waiting list for them, or I think every body would be on them!!!!

If you want any more info on up grades, etc, just ask.

heya shem any idea when the upgrades are being posted out mate, have modified mine already but could do with the self landing mod.

I'd imagine theyll be coming with the next batch, hope fully end of this week. Ill up date you if I hear. Ive been self landing mine just of pulling the centre line to flip it over, and its worked every time, itll be nice to have the landing handle, mind.

Took out my new strappless surf board last week, and it was sweet, just cruzin on shoulder high surf, NICE!

Dudes..sonics arrive end of this week..i'll be down for friday night with loads of beer & cider and Will should be joining with his legendary bowmore whisky, not to mention the loved-up Dougy! OldNeril will be down too, but i'm still not sure where exactly we'll be..i am very tempted to go over to the aberdovey side for some flat water training action

neil, might be needing the board and boots sooner. will be up for a blast. the van is being serviced today and i slept in it at the weekend in oxford where it was -5!! the temp in the nugget never dropped below 15

I think there'll be enough wind around for the weekend judging by the forecasts at the moment... It may be a little too Northerly though which can be one of the worst directions here as the hill behind Aberdovey shelters us from the Northerly winds... Unless of course it swings a little to the East then the estuary should be good..

The NE is working at the mo, but I'm still feeling pretty ill with this chest infection (and I think the antibiotics are making me feel a little odd too)... Thurs and Fri look interesting though!

went down to the estuary was gonna go out then the wind dropped. kicked in again a sunset but very very cold. i hope the sw wind is back next week.

If its straight Northerly, the lagoon at dyfi will be sheet glass, if its NE defo stay at ynys las. The sonic bar upgrades have arrived, lets hope the kites are en route!! Shame the 8s arent coming till next drop. Ive got a group in Sat morning, but will be playing in the avo. ( snow boards on stand by as well).

Congratulations by the way Shem. New addition to the family....how soon do you think it will be til you have her strapped to a kite??
