hi dudes Tim suggested a massif outing to somewhere different for a few days from tuesday onwards till friday in the vans ;anyone up for kitesurfing somewhere different?
If you guys of the Borth Massif are planning something from Tuesday on, would like to be a part of it. (Don't have a van - got a car though !). Hope you don't mind - but will keep an eye on this thread & maybe tag along.
Work Schmurk!!!
new york schmuck
those little town blues, are drifting away! etc
yep will keep posted where off to; looking like brancaster might be the spot to head for,Whoosh is there this week.
I'm around from Wed evening for about 7 days
kewl stuff, more the merrier
col - didn't kno there was any kitesurfin in NY - I think you'll need 15m lines to get your kite under Brooklyn Bridge!
Yeah east coast looks a goer given current conditions
go under the bridge i was gonna jump it
I'll be working all week as usual do not outing for my van, I'm sure I'll get out here though if theres any wind.
Al.
work work work. then biking next weekend so you should have good wind.
thanks chris . dont look like the wind is going to be of use this weekend at borth; ok as you live there but too iffy for us to make
such a journey.
see you around and enjoy the biking.
oh good luck with the van
got a text from steveo last night and he is heading down there sunday for the week in his car(cant imagine the smell!)
i am heading down monday in the van to stay as long as the wind stays;dunk will be there wed evening i presume;see you all down there
and lets pray the wind stays with us as it has not obliged this eyer weekend!!
You guys going East or West
ah brancaster just east of hunstanton, which is of course on the east coast, norfolk. guru showing winds monday through the week from
the east; very promising from tuesday onwards for smaller kites, monday might be big kite day.
encee it is Nige si it not?
yeah, no wind at ynyslas , but might be persuaded for brancaster..if the wind is F4-5+ then i'll be there Tuesday/Wednesday and boosting unhooked
mmmm..looks like more wind & East for Wednesday onwards at brancaster..and then it swings SE for Thurs which is cross off!

Following on from Neils post.
Yep, it is Nige > Nigel Cutler > NC > encee.... (Crappy isn't it ? )
Have met some of you at Borth - thought I might come over to Brancaster on Wednesday. Hopefully with "me ol' Mucka" Paul B.
Is it about 3 hours by car ? (From Brum)
Can you kite on high & low tide ?
Do you gather at a particular spot ?

Have fun out east guys. Remember, don't park your vans up in the car park before high tide. Isn't it Brancaster where the approach
road floods?
I'll be staying here enjoying the surf in the off shores!
Dudes,
Its only the road to the carpark that floods, You won't get wet in the carpark itself.
mondays wind now looking rubbish at brancaster;tuesday onwards looks ok so at the present not doing monday hopefully tuesday. keep fingers and everything else crossed!!!!!
hey neil, just had a look at da guru and it reckons serious rain with only 8-10 knts East for Tues/wed at Brancaster!
Long range forecast for friday is showing some styling F5 South westerlies at borth....mmmmm, i might be persuaded to be patient until
that arrives with warmer weather
tricky one at the mo, keeps changin every 5 minutes, best bet now I reckon is the SW - some good westerlies
and southerlies weds, thurs and friday - come on wind gods sort it out!!
all changed, brancaster looks to be the spot, Easterlies tomoro and weds then move somewhere near there for SE's on thurs and fri - Neil and I are heading there tomoro morning. See ya there
See you dudes at Branie, in the morning, High tide is about 8.50am, so no rush to get there to early. Could be worth a trip over to Great yarmouth area when the wind goes SE, it will be cross on, will check out places to sail over there.
see you all there tomorrow.Steve do we head towards the golf course on the map?
ah dont forget anyone who wants tea etc ,bring some tea bags and milk!!!

Would have like to have tried Brancaster but think I'll live in hope that Wind Guru's got it right for Friday & will go to Ynyslas or the Dyfi lagoon.
Wind Guru doesn't look that promising for Friday at the moment... 12-24 knots Southerly with rain... Not a great forecast, but all will
change by then.
