Looks like it's goin all SE this weekend - anyone up for a trip to Phwehilli (???) on Sunday assuming it stays that way?

leonardo - 16-3-2005 at 12:27

Sounds like a VERY far drive to me! I'm thinking of hitching a ride with master bluebeard to Borth's estaury..SE could be nice in there, but could on the other hand be very gusty.

The forecast is showing some very warm 17 Cels & sunny skies for both Sat + Sun!

The other option (with a stronger SE wind forecast) is Porthcawl...

So where we heading ship-mates? I reckon Porthcawl dudes...

so what is wrong with black rock sands then,if it goes very much out of the east then your right on then Tim phwellillington would be the place.

leonardo - 16-3-2005 at 13:33

Agreed!

Weekend here we come!!!

Monster swell forcast for the weekend, and clean wind, AAHHHHHHH, wave riding.

bucski - 17-3-2005 at 09:07

sunday lookin good, me still thinks pwelly is the place - where is everyone goin then???

bucski - 17-3-2005 at 10:45

shem dyou reckon llyngwril will be working?

leonardo - 17-3-2005 at 12:39

Not so sure about going all the way up there anymore guys! With loads of swell and some SE I still reckon Ynyslas will be the place..who cares if it's a bit gusty!! The tide should be high around midday and if it's not nice in the estaury, then we'll be riding off the seafront!

The trip up north is just too far & slow and besides, the toilets at Borth R WAY better than those up north

Having had a look at the forecasts, if i could go anywhere else, it would be Porthcawl!!!

Hey Dunk, see ya down on sat morning in Ynyslas.

mNeil - 17-3-2005 at 13:07

Le Bok porthmadog is infact quicker to get to than borth!
Tim you are probably correct about the welli being better than black rock. i will be staying at black rock over night on the beach and drive there in the mornings.
had enough of gusty winds at ynyslas!

bucski - 17-3-2005 at 15:36

yeah i did porthmadog in 1 hour ten minutes last time - that was in the Impreza though!

Def puwelly for me as long as forecast stays like this - c ya there Neil.

porthmadog on sunday looks good, dan from powerkiteshop said he's had the cleanest wind at blackrock on a S/E and it looks like 18/20mph
