Its going to snow duuuuuuuuuuude!
Even my retro eighties spray jacket couldn't keep me warm last week.
Bring on the summer!
As far as the forecasts go, its going to be warmer and the wind is from the west and NW which is way warmer than the North or NE!
Hey Dunk, if you came through and wore your red coastguard suit plus proper gloves, then you'd be toasty like me!
i'll try and get out this weekend, does look promising but keep it quite or it'll go crap
Count me in!!
Al.
i'm def up for sunday - hope it stays west - d'ya think any of the babes will be about??

Playing most of friday, might make the most of Aberdyfi estuary side, as its forcast straight west, and itll be out of bounds in a
couple of weeks due to moorings, etc. Saturday and Sunday Ill be at the lagoon, ( working, but squeezing in some play as well).
You should come over for a change leo!
Shem, the best sail i've ever had in borth was actually over at the lagoon side where those waves come through and peel off the shallow
rock pools...hopefully it'll be like that this weekend...i'm going to attempt a sicky this friday...
See ya then..
Go, the sicky, Im doing a couple of hours teaching, for a guy thats up and riding all ready, then Im playing. Ill probably have the
boat in the water as well.
X fingers its a sweety.
i will be up. 20 knots, wow will i really get to use my 12 m f-one no i mean really will i . someone just say yes. hey if will is up he could do a raley just to show it was really him and not neil. ha ha
oh no ! you are really going to ignore the cold gusty north wind coming in on friday night for the weekend
trip out to the snow postponed till april 2nd; missed the norway trip by an hour! anyone want to come with to austria or tigne in
april; bound to be cold winds there!!
I'm gonna work Friday morning as it doesn't look as though the wind will pick up properly until the afternoon, but will be out at
Ynyslas after work ....probably about 10am, in which case I'll be kitesurfing until the wind fills in properly and then I'll go
windsurfing.... Got a new board to try out as well that I have just picked up... It should be a bit of a speed machine.
Al.
hey al,
i will be around 11-2 if the weather looks any good - might not get in the water though!! i hopefully want to try out the 13m on the
mountain board!!
MMM. Friday PM looks ok, not sure if I can get away with it like I did last week though.
Saturday looks OK but Sunday could be dissapointing.
Might see you Friday again Shem?
i'll be up friday about 12..its a bloody cheek i know but ive got to go to work tonite
Dudes, got a date with the missus fri night (have to keep her happy), but should be down at the beach for about 8am Saturday morning!
should be out playing tomorrow afternoon. got my new 12m caution to play with.
having a few drinks and food for margi's birthday sunday early evening is anybody is around.
see you on the beach.
Still looking good for tomorrow afternoon (as long as you ignore what the BBC have to say on the matter).... But Tues, Weds and
Thursday are looking epic....SW's at last!!! woohooo. Lets hope it stays that way.
Al.
al,
not only are the winds looking good, the stars on windguru are a nice warm gold colour, things are warming up and looking windy. see
you on the beach in a bit..
Chris i think a trip to the eye specialists is required ; dont see guru showing anything above 7C for saturday and getting colder for sunday, i would have thought this weekend is getting colder. however next week looks like maybe a return to warmer times with SW winds coming! then look forward to next weekend, it will be the last one before Ren returns from RSA........
Yup, only the most hardcore of us go out in sub 7 celsius
The secret lies in the right gloves & spray jackets..
Dudes,
I'll be around from Tuesday afternoon for a week anyone around next week for the warm weather?
It was lovely today, really tosaty out there in the sunshine... A little too warm with my gimp hat on actually, so I ended up taking it
off.
Mind you, I don't wear a spray jacket or gloves and haven't even been a little bit chilly yet this year, I do get my gloves out if the
air temp drops below 0¬?C but it hasb't really been very cold yet this year and we should be through the worst of it by now.
It won't be long til we're out in just our shorts!
Al.
'am gonna "tootle" up to Ynyslas in the wifes Ka tomorrow (save some money on the fuel !) maybe see some of you on the beach.
what is it with the wind on sunday's - sunday is like my kitesurfing day - and the wind just ain't happenin then - must have a word with the wind gods - they just ain't playin the game!
It isn't exactly nice at the moment here on Saturday... 10 knots one minute, then 25 knos with hailstorms the next....
Think I'll leave it until later.
Al.
The wind was sweet over here today, I was on the beach 10-5, and i didnt drop lower than 25 knots, mainly around 27-28 knots, as I was
teaching I had small kites blown up, and got up and riding easily with a 5 meter, spent most of the time super powered on a 9 meter
though. The only nasty spell was a monster squaw around 4ish, which dragged a kiter with a 7 meter clean out of the water.
This week looks sweet, any body coming down?
Yep...It settled down here by 10 as well and couldn't have been any better. I'm even feeling a little sunburnt today!!!
Al.
Glad to hear your sun burnt, Ive got DHS,(detachable head syndrome), starting allready!
