Not sure how reliable this will be but there is still a glimmer of hope as the MET is usually quite good..

Might still be windy Cindy...
If this forecast happens (will need to check with Al) then riding waves on saturday in a F4-5 NW will be SUPERB!
Can't get my head round this,
BBC lunchtime weather is giving out southerly gales and rain for the weekend.
Windfinder, SE 8 knts Sat , SW 8 knts Sun
Windguru, S 5-9 knts Sat , SSW 6-4 knts Sun
Then the Bok's forecast as above.
What'd you lot think?
Might stay home and go polesurfin
I don't know what the BBC are doing.
The pressure charts tell a diferent story.

Cheers guys, I think I make my mind up in the morning.
then why dont we go to the NE coast of angelsey to llygwy bay or go down to porth call?
oh what is it going to be l9ike down brankaster?
think i might give hunstaton a go tomorrow, has the wind looks like it's going from the south to south west
15 - 20 ktns, could be good.
Looks as though the wind for Sat is going to be further South... the forecast even for S. Wales looks OK though so it might get here in
time.
Looks as thought the Met Office forecast in an eariler post was either the shiiping or inshoire waters forecast... you almost always
need to knock 1-2 forces off that as they always overestimate the wind.... (1) because it will actually be windier a mile or so out to
sea and (2) just in case!
Surf should be good though, it was pumping this morning, then the SW kicked in and messed it up.
Al.
At least it won't be raining as much as it has been today and yesterday though... although it sill looks prety wet for Sat.
Al.
could it be worth a trip up then?
I'll post an update first thing in the morning...and let you know what it is ACTUALLY doing here.... although the wind is meant to fill
in in the afternoon, and if the forecasts/charts are even 50 miles out we could get quite a bit of wind.
Al.
Early Morning update (6.30 am).... The wind is still here!!... 20-25 knots SW. Yeah man!!!
Unfortunatley forecasts have it dropping during the morning, to next to nothing around midday... but then picking up again late
afternoon into the evening... better still, all of a sudden Sunday looks REALLY good.
Al.
Latest update....
Just been out playing on the beach with a 'kite-wing' and mt. board. The wind was dropping all the time and is now about 10 knots SW...
Time to go for a surf at the Lifeboat Station.
Al.
It's now midday and as forecast, there is no wind at all!
It should fill in a bit later, but probably toolate before it gets it act together properly. Tomorrow still looks OK though. (SSW Force
5.)
Al.
