I'm hoping to get over on Sunday, but have got to twist a few arms yet, will those reef bikini girls still be there?

I'll be about. Wind has dropped off at the mo, but there should be some first thing tomorrow morning, and then a steady Force 4-5 most of the weekend.

Monday looks like the best day in the near future though.

Forecasts and charts seem to say the strongest winds will come in overnight tonight and then drop off during the day tomorrow. Should still be plenty around all day though with the best (strongest) winds in the morning along with the rain.

And then the winds should build once again later on Sunday before going mad on Monday!.. Then next week looks pretty intersting with a gales every other day!... Woohooo.

I'll post a 'nowcast' from the beach in the morning.

SW 20-25 knots, 3 foot messy surf, pouring with rain.... Time to go and play.

Winds should ease a little and become Westerly by midday and the rain ease this afternoon.

See you on da beach.

How good was saturday night, there where about 7-8 of us on the aberdyfi side, every one super powerd on 12 and 13s. As a bonus it was sunny as well!! JOY!!

Yep, Saturday was as good as it gets. Nice steady winds, some good waves and loads of sunshone. 4 hours kiting well-powered with th 13m Strike and 125 Litewave for me, followed by a couple of hours windsurfing.

Sunday was equally good. Morning session with the big sail and board (5.7m and 90 Ltr) and then an absolutely perfect session well-powered with the 5m and little wave board in the afternoon. Mad rough conditions though and not so much sunshine.
