FLEXIFOIL STRIKE CHICKEN LOOP - PRODUCT RECALL NOTICE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before launching the Strike and as part of our ongoing product development, we decided to change the style of the chicken loop to
ensure an improved release system. We had planned to introduce this modification prior to launch of the Strike. Unfortunately it has
come to our attention that the first two batches of Strike bars that accompanied the kites were despatched without this modification
having been made.

Oh no!!! The ones we have have the old system!!!... Looks a though we'd better get them changed if we are letting people demo the
kites. Wouldn't want the safety release not to work whilst someone was using it.
Al.
Maybe everyone should buy Cabrinha....they've got a safety that works.
crapbrinhas have a well tested system..just ask graham
and they float too!
just ask Graham
Theres hardly any of the first batch of kites out there, the ones my self and Al use are the new system. The only diffderence is the
Material used in the releasing section of the chicken loop.( the piece the pin goes through).
My clients are always pulling them, and they work fine, I know cos Im always having to put them back togeather!!
I spoke to Mike Shaw from Flexifoil at the weekend. Apparently the old quick release system on the Strikes can become a little iffy as
they get older, which is why they have recalled them. The new system just has a webbing loop for the quick release pin rather than the
rope one, so it dosen't change shape as it gets older.
We're going to get replacement quick releases for the demo kites we have here, although the old system seems to work fine at the moment
anyway, and some have the new system.
Al.
We must have 2 different types Al, Ive got the new type, haha.
