Photos from Borth
RobD - 17-6-2004 at 08:10

Hi all,
I've posted the photos from the session at Borth.
As suspected shooting into the sun meant there are lots of pretty silhouetted shots but not really the sort of full-colour shots I'd like. Also my zoom lens is a tad short so I'll try and borrow something longer next time out.

The photos can be found here...

http://www.robdunsford.com/ksborth/

I've grouped them by kite-surfer so you don't *have* to look through all of them.

If you want to order any prints then please email me at rob@robdunsford.com with the photo reference (found at the bottom of each photo).
I can't really offer prints larger than 7x5" (9x6" at a push) from this batch as many of them have been cropped severely to compensate for my too-short zoom lens.

Good to meet you
Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Rob
p.s. Thanks to Al for suggesting I post a link to the shots here.
p.p.s. Check out a couple of the better shots below :

Mystery Rider 3 is indeed Neil from Taunton, he was flying a phantom actually.

The remaining mystery rider is ajdesq (as he is known here) or Andrew.

Let us know next time you'll be down and we'll all try to 'perform' for you. Also notice how I seem to have been helping everyone launch, land, carry boards etc in half the photos!! I did spend a fair bit of time running around yesterday.... Thats my excuse for the lack of action shots of me anyway.

Al how come Neil was up from taunton;do you know him ? i have not seen him since last i was in cornwall maybe 2 years ago. have not seen him since the phantoms have come out; he started on arcs and the last time i saw him was on the old "f" arcs which we used to call streamers.
see you over the weekend
ps try and catch some wild chickens for the barbie

justal - 18-6-2004 at 17:26

He's been working in Newtown apparently, which is why he is up this way.

As far as the chickens go, I think it'll be easier to just go to pete the Meat in Borth and buy some of his BBQ specials!

hey al

i do want to get my hands on a board - can't afford a kite as well as a board though with the car insurance coming up soon too!

should find out today whether or not i've got a job i had an interview for on friday, so when i've got a bit of cash i might have to invest!

justal - 21-6-2004 at 18:21

Cool... good luck with the interview... I know it might leasd to the dreaded 'J' work, but at least that will lead to cash and then more toys!
