2nd November 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunshine and showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 2nd November - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunshine and showers, chilly too. After a bit of a late night I slept through Mags early morning walk along the prom but I did head out in the van around nine to take a few pics to send to the TV weather, first stop The Fludyers and it was lovely with sunshine over the water before continuing onto The Ferry, parking near the Ferryboat. I walked over to my favourite yellow wreck before doing a quick circuit of the boatyard before returning home for breakfast and sort out my pics as the first light showers arrived! Exercises complete we had homemade soup we headed out at 1.45 for an afternoon stroll down to Felixstowe prom which was quite pleasant despite the chilly breeze from the north and the rain was now out to sea, we made it to the turning bench just past the Fludyers hotel before returning home for a cuppa and a hot water bottle!
