Wednesday 3rd December - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny
with light winds.
Once again Mag did her early morning by herself as it looked fairly cloudy
out to sea but I did head out around 7.30 hoping there might be some mist
on the Deben but sadly it was clear and there was still a big bank of cloud
on the horizon delaying the sunrise. There was nothing of interest to
photograph at Felixstowe Ferry, I stopped at the cliff top car park waiting
for the sun to appear, I got fed-up of waiting so moved onto The Fludyers
where I stopped just at the sun popped up and I managed to get a few nice
pics before heading for home! It had turned into a lovely day so I got a
couple of roll out of the freezer for a picnic later before doing my
exercises! Mag had defrosted so homemade soup so we took that as well for
lunch, as we were seeing Mary this afternoon we just headed down to the
seafront and walked past Jacobs ladder to our spot on the beach to enjoy
our picnic with a nice bank of cloud heading slowly out to sea! We then
continued up to the beach hut at Brackenbury and through the town to Marys
for a cuppa.
Later in the evening I put my laptop on and realised that I had missed a
good show from the Northern Lighter between 7 and 8, never mind you can’t
win them all, still the near full moon was good!
