Thursday 31st October - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy morning, sunny afternoon:) .

Walk 1 – early morning at Felixstowe Ferry.

I drove down to Felixstowe Ferry at 6.30 hoping to see a sunrise as sunshine has been in short supply of late but was disappointed but managed to get a few nice shoots of the boats on the river and some Halloween pics for the local TV weather and was pleased to get one on ITV’s About Anglia and some very creative pumpkin carving, the local friendly Robin seemed to like them too! Being stuck in the centre of a large high pressure the winds are very light and the sea flat as a pancake!

Walk 2 – Around Felixstowe to pick up Maeva.

With Maeva’s Mum and Dad going to a wedding this afternoon we were having the bundle of joy for the day so after a late breakfast we set off to pick her up around 10.30. Then back to the town, with several people waiting for a train to arrive we waited on the platform to watch it come and go, I think Maeva was suitably unimpressed:) Through Solar to the WoolBaa as Mag needed some buttons for a jumper she is knitting and home for a welcome cuppa and fig roll, Maeva loves them!

Walk 3 – Felixstowe prom including cuppa on the beach with Maeva:)

Then after lunch and with the weather improving, we actually ended up with a lovely blue sky and sunshine as I made a flask plus snacks and we all set off down to the prom. We had a lovely walk with Maeva loving the large bollards near the Spa Theatre. We enjoyed a wonderful hour on the beach with a cuppa and cake with Maeva throwing herself all all over Granny who must be black and blue, she was so full of giggles:) Its amazing whya fun you can have with a few pebbles and shells with a bucket and spade:) With the sun starting to set we walked up through the Spa gardens, the town centre and home after a wonderful afternoon!
Its fast approaching nine, Maeva is still here in her Babygro ready for bed as her mum and dad head back from the wedding in Ipswich!
