Wednesday 5th June - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods.

Woke to a sunny day so after doing Wordle etc I once again headed down to Felixstowe Ferry to make the most of the sunshine and we had other things to do today including a visit from our hairdresser and a trip to see an old friend. I stopped off at the Cliff top car park to take pics of the lovely poppies and got one chooen as an Editors Pick but once again it did not make it onto the TV, not keen on todays forecaster:( I once again took some pics of the Yvonne Lynn, a small cruiser beach at the Ferry, it looked much better today I the sun as did the wonderful wild flowers near the terrace of houses near the chapel, just lovely:) Then home to sort out my pics, do some of my exercises before Sue turned up to do our hair and had a grat catch-up as she has been doing our hair for 30 years! Then lunch before heading to Marys for a cuppa and cake before doing our daily walk as we headed down to The Fludgers and continued to Jacobs Ladder where we spotted a yacht which had run aground on the shingle bank at Felixstowe Ferry, with high tide around 11.30 tonight I wouldn’t fancy getting refloating it in the dark!
Tomorrow I have a walk planned a little further afield which will be nice, it will be a surprise for Mag as she dosnt know the destination!
