19th October 2021 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F7 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 17.5 Sea Temperature: 14.8 Weather: Overacast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Hit the water as wind increased so maxed on 4.2m then down to 3.7m before wind died and tide dropped to form messy waves. Before then waves were smooth and up to logo high. First ride was on wave that built logo and steep, couldn't turn so ended up surfing down with sail in one hand - cool. Tried a few other turns but forgot to pull on backhand to tighten.. Bit gusty but Ok. Biggest waves for me for ages, not many riding I guess as wind so strong. Heard a long whoosh going over wave as someone did a big jump and landed 8m away, awesome. 20 out. |
