5th January 2020 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F5/F6 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 10.4 Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: I'm becoming a Jonah as wind dropped when I touched the water and was struggling on 4.7m. Waited out the longer lulls and got caught in larger waves further out as coming out of gybes into no wind, not even on crests. Knocked in and board separated from rig, better than uj box ripped out in surf. Learnt to turn in front of larger waves to avoid lulls in lee of larger waves and some nice rides in. Getting used to board and fins which can pivot a bit so adapt. 3* in the end as bit more wind came. Waves were goid, pity I didn't rig bigger. |
