F6 forecast but cloud came over so gusry and much less, so tried kiting. First time on water after hand op. Surf was more trouble than I expected and gustier too, but at least I did not break anything and not forgotten everything. Drifted downwind a lot and thanks to Mick and Richie for tuition and help carrying. Need a few more goes relearning before I can progress, I hope.
