SW'ly again i.e. onshore at most of the Pembrokeshire beaches. I was keen to score cross-shore starboard tack and this quest took me away from Pembrokeshire to the Gower Peninsula. Sailed a deserted Horton in really gusty conditions...again...and a sporadic boom+ swell but the waves that did push in were long and clean allowing my best rides of the trip. Lovely starboard tack definitely helped. Memories of Maui as I hacked down the line on one overhead peach... Enjoyment was augmented by unexpected glorious sunshine for most of the day that illuminated another beautiful location. I'm keen to sail Horton again - reckon it could really fire with a bigger swell. Gower is only 4 hours from Shingleshire so easy to do on a forecast and it has plenty of options for all the wind directions.
