YAFFD*!! I can't believe how much sailing I've done today - utterly knackered. Got down about 10.30, just as Nuala arrived with team, rigged the usual suspects, with 400 this time, which I'm getting to like... Then wind arrived and it was good.

Tried very very hard with the gybe thang, and it's paying off. Phew. Depressing if it hadn't eh? Had an interesting convo with the chap parked next to me, who asked how fast we were going, estimating 6-8 knots. I said no way, more like 20, and got my GPS out to prove it. Although the wind had dropped, I peaked at 18.6kn, so he was well amazed. Turned out he'd worked with ocean yachts all his life and clearly needed recalibrating... altho he did tell a story about being on an SAS attack boat (3000hp!!) doing 84kn in the Solent right where we were! Scarey.
