Well, my session wasnt what I expected! The wind was just too strong,
making the waves too strong for me too. Me and my mate Sian where walking
down the pebble hill to the beach then we arrived the sand and we both
started waxing our boards. 5 minutes later we entered the water, the tide
was in too, there where pebbles everywhere! We paddled into some huge
waves, I could tell it was gonna be a challenge for me to ride some of
these waves. As I caught a wave I stood up and I went REALLY fast, I
couldnt control the way the board was moving! I just had to bare with
whatever the board was going to do!
I went flying into a Groyne, and me leash wrapped around the
Groyne several times, making me submerged in the sea! I was in the water,
struggling for breath and struggling to just get my leash off the Groyne!
Even worse there where holiday makers right next to my mate Sian who was
screaming her head off! There was about 7 of them! I then managed to rub
the leasch off the Groyne, rubbing me leg on the Groyne too, making it
bleed so much that when I paddled back to shore to my mate Sian, my board
was totally covered in blood, the water around me was too! When I stood up
Sian told me to look at my arms and legs, they where COVERED in Deep cuts!
My mum arrived then and she said that I went into shock and
fainted after she'd brought me to hospital. My rating says Not great, but
worth doing, I mean that because Ive certainly learned my lesson!
