An absolutely perfect early morning session before work. Completely maxed-out and somtimte totlally overpowered with my 5.7m. If I had been planning on staying out on the water a little longer I would have changed down to my 5m and my wave board, but as it was a quick before-work session I just hung on and headed upwind on the tail of the board in the gusts.

A guy called Pete from Lichfield was also out and struggling with the windy conditions on his old board.

I made a few carving 360 and duck gybes attempts, but almost put myself through the sail on one of them, so played it safe after that. Theres a nice harness hook shaped dent in my sail now for my troubles.
