27th March 2003 Windsurfing: Chasewater Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15-25mph Surf / Sea State: choppy Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: First light nite and its windy at the lake yahoo!! Got there at 5 and 2 lads derigging, V gusty 10mph one min 20mph the next, Decided on 6.4 and hang on thru the gusts!Grabbed my 106 JP and i had the lake to myself, I lasted half an hour without getting wet untill a freak gust took me down.Had another hour out there untill the wind picked up and the light started to fade. Wicked sesh!!! |
