Good to get back on the water after my recent back trouble. But trouble it was for Clive from the first when down hauling his 6.0m Storm the top strap came away from the sail, rendering it useless.

After offering him my now mended 5.5m Storm I went out with a 6.3m and at times were a bit overpowered and then in the lulls I could keep planning. After a few attempts at getting in the back strap, usually resulting in luffing up into wind, I finally made it and powered across to the boat club. Never quite got the back foot in the straps on the way back but when back to the beach noticed that Radical Rob had now turned up.

After a quick rest went back out for another excellent plain across the lake, but on returning to the town beach saw that Clive was out of the water by the car. After going in to see what the trouble was he showed me my poor 5.5m with yet another hole in it. Clive decided that enough was enough after that but i went out for a final session and when the wind picked up was quite overpowered but eventually made it back knacked but happy with my time on the water.
