23rd April 2005
Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 18-25 knots
Surf / Sea State: Choppy
Air Temperature: 7ºC
Sea Temperature: 9ºC
Weather: Cloudy
Max Speed: 28.6 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 28.6 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

I was first on the water with my new 6.7m sail and Sputnik board, but everyone else was up and raring to go early in the morning too.
I was maxed out with the 6.7m and the Sputnik was its usual fast, smooth self. The sail was nice, light in the hands, early planing and easy to handle. I had a few runs across to Aberdovey and then a few mad downwind runs back to Ynyslas but with the chop no ridiculously fast runs and only a max speed of 28.6 knots.

I then changed down to my 5.7m and Mistral Heat as the kitesurfers and Impi all joined me on the water. Much slower this time as the sail just wasn't quite set up right and the board is slower.. Only 23 knots in this session. Just nicely powered up and cruising around. Then the wind eased a little so I packed up and headed off for a surf.
