Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary
Wind Direction: SE
Wind Stength: 15-22 knots
Surf / Sea State: Flat
Air Temperature: 8ºC
Sea Temperature: 8ºC
Weather: Rain
Max Speed: 26.6 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 20.0 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Wind was really gusty but looked pretty good in the gusts, so couldn't quite decide netween the new 6.7m sail or the new 5.7m sail. Went with the 5.7m in the end for the gusts.

AndyW was out as well and to start we we had some nicely powered up runs over this side of the estuary, but with the small tides there wasn't a lot of room. We could see a couple of people out from Aberdovey side so we decided to work our way downwind and see what it was like over there. As it turned out, it was Daz amd Mark out, but they were on bigger kit than us, and if anything the wind was lighter on that side of the estuary. We stayed pver there anyway as there was more room, but the windiest bit seemd to be on the Ynyslas side so that was where the best action happened. I should really have rigged the 6.7m as that would have kept me going through the lulls.. What I really needed was a bigger board! All in all it was a pretty good sail anyway, if a little chilly!
