Defintely the best way to spend an otherwise wasted day. Despite the cold & the rain, 4 of of us did the Penhydd trail in 1hr 40mins, although we skipped a short section I know would have been really boggy.

Although there was no snow on the trail we did ( there was snow on the highr hills around us), we found we were breaking the ice off all the puddles: These were great for traction :^) - rain water, on top of ice on top of puddles.
