Met Ian, Neroli, Al & Adrian up at Afan in the morning. Decided to do
Whyte's trail, which starts (& ends) about 6 miles up the valley from the
main centre. Once on the trail, a hard slog up followed by some very
entertaining descents, the last few hundred metres of which were
brilliant.
After lunch, Ian, Adrian, Al & myself did the Penhydd trail: The long hard
slog up from the base was punctuated by Ian having to dismantle his chain
rings again when the chain firmly jammed itself in there. The trail was
much muddier than last time, but the twisty, steep descents are just
fantastic.
