Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 18-22 knots Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
The wind was still there this morning, so off I went to the estuary
expecting a mellow session trying out the lighter wind potential of the
Mistral Heat.... That wasn't to be as it was perfect 5m weather and my 5m
wasn't back from being repaired, so itwas yet another totally maxed out
session with the 5.7m. At times I could have got away with the 4.5m.
There was more water in the estuary today as the tide was slightly larger,
which meant more chop. I had a couple of unsuccessful 360 and duck gybe
attempts, but other wise just blattingup and down with the odd chop hop and
some nice carve gybes. Some of the runs were scarily fast again... Perfect.
