Yet another hot, sunny and windy afternoon, with plenty of water in the estuary. I went out with the 13m Strike which was perfect, there were a few lulls to start with, but the wind soon sorted itself out and I had a couple of hours of well-powered up kiting with the whole estuary to myself and quite an audience of people on the beach. Lots of nice controlled jumps, some grabs and tabletops and then quite a few back-loop attempts. I can get around fine, with my board but for some reason I end up doing a kite-loop as well and then just loose it (and my board as I get dragged off after the rotation... Obviously pulling too hard on one hand, but I haven't managed to work out which one yet!... Also, I think I'll wait for a day when there someone else about who can at least keep an eye on my board. Despite the flat water, I still almost lost my board a few times as the current seemed to be taking it all over the place.

Just as I was packing up, mark came over well powered on his 11m Strike, but I didn't have the energy to get back out there.
