Maxed out on my 5.7m with my new 90 litre Mistral Heat and 23cm fin. Mark was ut and well powered on a 5m and his 72 litre wave board, but my 5m is still being repaired. It was OK though as the water was flat, so hanging on to the big sail was OK.

As good as it gets really, mad flat water blasting with two other people out, just going as fast as we possibly could, often in close proximity to each other and showering each other with spray. Loads of flat out gybes as well. The water in the lee of the sand bank was mirror smooth allowing for some mad speed runs.

The board seems OK, not the fastest board arounbd, but thats because its a wave board. It seems pretty smooth around the corners though and tends to sail with its nose in the air... It does have a fair bit of both nose and tail rocker.

Only 4 stars though as despite the speed, the good conditions and the sunshine, it was flat water!
