18th August 2004
Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 20-25 knots
Surf / Sea State: 1 foot messy surf
Air Temperature: 17ºC
Sea Temperature: 17ºC
Weather: Sunny spells and showers
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Got to the beach around 4pm to find a couple of kitesurfers changing down to 9m(ish) kites and Darren changing from his 6.3 to a 5.8 sail and smaller (92ltr) board. I decided to rig my 5.7m and 80 litre board and we were soon all on the water. I was nicely powered up and at times maxed out and flying upwind. It was wuite choppy out the back and good fun blasting across the water. Not much in the way of steep ramps for jumping, but still good fun.

The kiters were struggling a little in the slightly gusty conditions, which was why I went windsurfing rather than kiting.

Still, a nice powered up session in good conditions.
