Nice 6.5m day, but a bit gusty so opted for the bigger board. As the tide came in, it probably would have been wise to change to a smaller board, but was having fun with limited pass from the missus, so went for maximum sailing time by sticking with the first board I rigged. Stumbled across a technique that got the 125ltr board airborne without a ramp and with 100% success rate - must be the elusive 'pop' that freestylers are on about, but very chuffed to be able to do it and hoping that it wasn't a fluke of the day.
