27th June 2004 Windsurfing: knap, barry Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 20+ Surf / Sea State: swell /chop Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny/storm Max Speed: Distance Covered: up early today drove up to boot sale hayling with jamie,clive and greytraks , sorted a few deals boys all kitted up wind was picking up all morn , made a mad dash back to the Knap. Arrived back about 2.30 just as everybody seemed in a mad rush on beach as people where rerigging from 7m to 5m . Quickly rigged me 5.3m and got out , fully powered in glorious sun for 40 mins then , bang a big storm just ran in ,dark dreary and hammering rain . Wind was still good so sailed throughout storm untill sun came back out , but that was it wind dropped off . |
