Monday 13th September walks **** 1 Felixstowe sunrise prom and 2 Levington circuit sunny periods.

1 Felixstowe sunrise prom walk. (2.85 miles)

A bit of a disturbed night being warm night with the noisy Evergreen container ship in Felixstowe docks so when we woke early, we decided to get up and head down to the prom to catch the sunrise and were glad we did as it was really good:) With light winds it was a pleasant stroll all the way to Jacobs Ladder with the sun turning the clouds some lovely colours, quiet too with just a few open water swimmers and early dog walkers with a few joggers! Meet our neighbour out walking their dog so stopped for a chat seeing a squirrel dancing along the path. Home for breakfast then Mag heads to Lidl while I do my exercises in the back garden.

2 Levington Circuit. (2.25 miles)

There was a hint of a breeze so decided to drive over to the River Orwell at Levington Marina to check out the conditions as it is often windier on the river taking my lunch with me. Parked up but the wind was very light so had my yummy roll before setting off for a walk with my two cameras and a tube for some blackberries. It was sunny and warm so the sweatshirt soon came off as I walked along the river path collecting berries all along the route. The highlight of the walk was spotting a Kingfisher at Levington Creek but not much else in the way of wildlife. Back along the lane to the marina returning home for cuppa and cake with Mag. Rain forecast for tomorrow with no wind in the foreseeable future:(
