Tranquil SuP this morning in zero wind and flat calm accompanied by a
cormorant dripping water into the mirror reflections as it took flight, and
a heron fishing at the seas's edge.
This afternoon's breeze built and after finally deciding there was a enough
rigged 7.5m but after half an hour got too much. Changed to 94l and 6m, and
of course wind eased. Almost packed up a couple of times but kept planing
enough in gusts, then wind filled in and nicely powered for hour and half
until 7pm, especially along cob with sand whizzing by under clear sea.
Wind only started to eased 7:30pm. Gareth changed down to 6m too, and Rik
blasted on his new slalom kit wishing he was on 7m instead of hanging on to
7.8m but still looked impressive. Roger winging i.
